We help seal your look in time for your upcoming wedding day with a makeup run to decide what works best for you. This removes the risk of last minute fixes by having a range of looks created and photos to help you decide with one works best.

Guests

Any guests are welcome to have their hair and make-up done on the day. We request the number of guests and which services they would like in advance to create a schedule of the day. This way, everyone knows where they need to be at what time – it means that the wedding morning will be super organsied and relaxed.  Services tend to take 45 to 50 mins per person.

Bridesmaids

It’s a lovely treat for bridesmaids and the bride to get ready all together on the morning of the wedding. We would need to know the number of bridesmaids and the services they would like on the day for us to create a morning schedule. This way, everyone knows where they need to be at what time – it means that the wedding morning will be super organsied and relaxed.  Services tend to take 45 to 50 mins per person

Mother of the Bride/Groom

For your daughter’s wedding it is such a lovely experience to have hair and make-up done. We apply make-up that flatters, creating a make-up style that is age appropriate and colours that will light up your face. We use subtle, corrective techniques that make all the difference.  Services tend to take 45 to 50 mins per person.

Destination Wedding Makeup and Hair

The costs depend on the size of the wedding party requiring our services and where the wedding is located.

Travel Expenses

Additional travel expenses outside central London (zones 1 & 2) at £0.75 p/m.

This would be train ticket/taxi if needed. Travel expenses within London are £15 and any incurred parking or congestion charges will be added to the final balance.

What’s Included in the Price of Wedding Hair and Makeup?

From the moment you confirm your booking you will receive the friendliest and warmest welcome from MIO Founder Rachel Mannix. She will help you work out your wedding day beauty prep schedule so that on the day we know exactly when and where to turn up. 

Your bridal make-up will take 1 to 1.5 hours depending on how glam you’ve decided to go. Bridal hair is usually done in two parts – blow dried and set in curlers. The make-up is then applied while the hair is setting and the final touches are made to the hair after the make-up is complete. Depending on the style you have chosen, bridal hair can take between 1.5 and two hours.  You will also receive a full size lipstick, having already chosen the perfect shade at the trial for touch ups throughout your special day.

How far in advance should I book my hair and makeup artist?

We recommend that you give at least 6 months of notice to book your hair and makeup artist. However some may require longer up to a year in advance, all based on their demand. Therefore the earlier, the better.

Are there any add-on costs for wedding hair and makeup?

Sometimes there may be extra costs associated with bridal hair prices and bridal makeup prices. Extra charges incur depending on location, travel fees, additional hours, extra people and more. To know about such costs, contact us.

Can you provide on-location services for my wedding day?

Yes, we offer destination wedding makeup and hair. The team can travel to any location to get you ready for your big day.

Do you offer bridal hair updos, blowouts, and other styles?

Yes, we’re experienced in offering a range of bridal hairstyles that are traditional, modern or infuse both aspects together. In our appointments our bride can have updos, blow outs, and any style they like.
