Make-up In Orangeries Booking Notes

All bookings must be booked through the website booking page. There are options to select service type, number of people, preferable date and time etc. A member of the M.I.O team will verify Artist calendars for your booking and, if available, they will send an invoice for 25% of the total booking. Only after this has been paid the booking will be confirmed in the artist’s diary.

If looking to book far in advance for an event or your wedding day Make-up in Orangeries require a £60 minimum deposit to hold a date in the diary. This is a non-refundable deposit, however, the £60 will be deducted from the final balance if the holding day is subsequently booked.

For enquiries outside of the M25 a travel surcharge may apply – please do enquire with our team via email at info@makeupinorangeries.com.

On booking a make-up or hair service with Make-up In Orangeries, you must discuss any medical conditions, pregnancy or if you are breast feeding with the Artist at the time of your booking. If you have any uncertainty you must seek medical advice from your doctor. Certain conditions will mean that you cannot have certain services .

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Make-up In Orangeries require a minimum of six (6) weeks notice if you need to cancel your trial or wedding appointment. If not, the 25% deposit will be taken as the cancellation fee..

For short notice (ad-hoc) appointments booked for treatment within seven (7) days, we require your cancellation in advance of twenty four (24) hours. Missed appointments without the appropriate communication will incur a cancellation fee (25% deposit will be used as compensation.)

Seven days of notice is required for Petal Parlours, Events & Corporate Booking cancellations. A 50% deposit will be taken on booking and will not be refunded if you do not give Make-up In Orangeries at least seven (7) days notice of cancelation. If advance notice of more then seven (7) days is given you will be refunded your 50% deposit in full. Missed bookings without the appropriate notice will be charged as if attended.

Mobile beauty Etiquette

Your Make-up Artist may arrive up to 20 minutes before the start of your hair or make-up service. This will allow her to set up the kit. Once the Make-up Artist is at your destination, any significant time taken out to tend to deliveries, babies, pets or work that becomes a disturbance during the treatment will be taken off your treatment time. If you are late for your treatment your treatment time will be cut where necessary.

Male Clients

Please note that Make-up In Orangeries accepts male clients for both hair and make-up services. Make-up in Orangeries retains the right to refuse services to a male client for the Artist’s safety.  

Photography

The client agrees that the Makeup Artist may use any photography for publicity purposes which include but are not limited to the makeup artist’s website and social media pages. Personal data including photographs will be securely stored in line with our data protection policies more of which can be found in our privacy policy.

Travel Expenses

The client will cover any necessary additional travel expenses of the makeup artist as agreed at time of booking. This is to include, should it be required, train fares, taxis and parking charges. For destination weddings airport transfers both in the UK and abroad, flights and accommodation with breakfast should all be provided.

Materials
